Little Men by Louisa May AlcottThe Bookery
Considered the follow up to Alcott’s most famous novel—Little Women—Little Men follows the story of Jo March (now Jo Bhaer) as an adult. Along with her husband, Jo has opened a school for needy boys. The book follows the drama among the students at the school, with plenty of humor and tear-jerking. This edition is absolutely charming; although it’s unmarked, the quaint illustrations and binding look to be from the 30’s or 40’s. Now, if only we could get the cast from the 1994 Little Women movie to make this one too…Wino Forever.

Why We Love It
We can’t help but imagine a little girl curled up with this charming little book, giggling with glee at the mischief that Jo’s boys get into. This edition is really beautiful, and makes us wish that all books on our shelves were treasures such as this.
