Snack time around Larkspur headquarters is pretty much an all day sort of thing.  And since we won't be modifying our behavior any time soon, we make an effort to keep healthy snacks available so we don't end up binging on Hot Cheetos.  For us, a good snack sesh is really about hitting the craving on the head.  We put together this avocado and furikake rice cake recipe because we tend to gravitate towards salty pick-me-ups.  The creaminess of the avocado balances well with the hard crunch of the rice cake.  The furikake adds a salty, mildly fishy flavor.  Yum, yum, nom, nom.  

INGREDIENTS

1 whole avocado

2 rice cakes

1 tablespoon nori komi furikake rice seasoning

DIRECTIONS

Dice avocado into half inch cubes and mash gently.  Add avocado spread to rice cake top.  Sprinkle furikake seasoning.  DONE!
