We a love a spooky drink for Halloween, but we're not quite ready to embrace the warm spiced flavors of Fall quite yet. To satisfy our craving for something ghoulish, we created this mango nectar cocktail spiked with tequila, ancho chile powder, and grenadine served in a glass rimmed with super spicy habanero chile sugar.
Ingredients makes two cocktails
- 1 cup mango nectar
- 2 oz, good tequila (we like Patron)
- 1 teaspoon, ancho chile powder
- soda water
- splash, grenadine
- habanero sugar
Combine mango nectar, tequila, and ancho chile powder in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to help disperse the chile powder into the liquid. Pour into two glasses with ice, rimmed with the habanero sugar. Fill with a bit of soda water. Add a splash of grenadine to create a spooky color gradient in the glass. Serve!
