As we land into August and slowly feel the swing of summer calm down, we've got a few places we can't wait to explore before these warm summer nights wash away. Take note! The Larkspur girls have crafted a perfect adventure out on the town in Los Angeles...
Start out at The Roof on Wilshire for quick drink and take in the panoramic city views. We bet if you time it right you can even enjoy a gorgeous sunset. Big, cozy couches and spirited cocktails make this bar a must.
Next, walk down to LACMA to check out a soon-to-be-opened exhibit, African Cosmos: Stellar Arts. Running from August 24 - November 5, this exhibition marks the first major exploration of the relationship between African cultural astronomy and traditional/contemporary African art. You can expect to see historical masks from Mali, Egyptian statues, and even Nigerian divination instruments!
To complete the night, make your way to The Little Door, a charming rustic Mediterranean restaurant. There is, quite honestly, nothing on the menu we wouldn't be ready to try. It's got romantic patio seating, heirloom quality veggies, and impeccable presentation. A perfectly inspired way to end the night.
