I would like everything to smell and taste like roses always. Some people think roses are an old-lady smell, but I'm always drawn to rose-heavy perfumes, lotions, and potions. So when I found a bottle of Persian rosewater in my mom's pantry while housesitting for her, I knew I had to find a use for it. My concoction: a peach, almond, and rosewater smoothie. Be warned: this is heavy on rose flavor so if you're sensitive to floral notes, cut the amount of rosewater by half.
1 cup almond milk
1.5 cups frozen peaches (or fresh, but add ice if fresh!)
1/2 banana (not too ripe or it will become an overwhelming flavor)
1/4 cup raw almonds (preferably blanched with skins removed)
2 tsp rosewater or to taste
1 tbsp honey or to taste
Put it in the blender and give it a whirl!
